Expert Bath Repair & Resurfacing
Understanding bath repair and resurfacing
A chipped or damaged bath doesn’t mean replacement—I can fix it with ease. A simple chip repair involves filling the damaged area and perfectly colour-matching the enamel to make it look like new. This is very quick and usually takes between 1-2 hours to complete.
A full bath resurface means spraying a fresh new surface, giving your bath a brand-new appearance. Resurfacing is needed when your bath has more than just a few chips or damage, or when the surface lacks that shiny feel so the dirt sticks to it badly. It's a really great procedure to leave you with a bath that looks and feels brand new without having to rip it out and replace it. The whole process takes about one day and then you can use your bath again the next day!
One thing I always look for is how bad is the actual damage to your bath. Chips, scratches, and surface wear can typically be repaired without replacement. However, if the damage is deep or structural, reinforcement will be needed before surface restoration.
Depending on what you want to achieve with your bath will determine whether we should do a bath repair or a bath resurfacing. Every job is completed with expert precision and comes with a 12-month guarantee. As a trusted expert in Southampton, I can reach you quickly for your bath repair needs.
The longevity of a repair depends on using top-quality materials, which I always do. I use the highest quality commercial-grade materials to ensure that your bath repair or bath resurfacing lasts for as long as possible.

FAQs About Our Services
You may have questions about bath repair and resurfacing, and I’m here to help. Check out these frequently asked questions for quick and helpful answers. For further information, give me a call or see our terms and conditions for more info.
A standard bath repair typically takes between 1-2 hours. The bath repair will be fully set in 24 hours, after which you can use it as usual.
If you opt for bath resurfacing, the entire process will be finished in a day. I'll arrive in the morning and get to work on your bath so that I can finish the whole process the same day. After completion, the bath must sit undisturbed for 24 hours before being ready for use.
I can repair any type of damage, but we have to establish if the damage affected the overall integrity of the structure. If the damage is in an area that regularly bears weight, pressure may cause further problems. In this case, I may recommend replacing the bath instead of repairing it – but that is worst case scenario.
Yes. I offer a 12-month warranty with all our repairs unless otherwise stated. The repairs and bath resurfacing should last for many, many years, so if the repair is going to fail, it will do so within the first year. For significant structural issues, we’ll advise against repairs and cannot offer a warranty if you choose to proceed anyway.
Off-the-shelf repair kits contain weak materials that won’t provide a lasting repair like mine. Most DIY repairs won’t last long, often failing within a short time. DIY kits don’t provide enough colour-matching options, making it hard to blend the repair properly. You're welcome to give it a go before calling me to come and do a professional repair.
The materials I use may have an odor during the repair, but I take precautions, including wearing a protective mask. I will keep the bathroom door closed whilst doing your repair and will have the window open and use a special extractor fan to pump the smell outside. I use professional-grade materials to ensure the highest standard of repair and bath resurfacing, but once the new surface has fully cured after 24 hours, it will be totally fine to use as normal.
I will ask you to send in pictures of the damage so I can send you a fixed quote in advance. No hidden charges—just a straightforward fixed price once we've assessed the damage.

Bath Repair and Bath Resurfacing Hampshire
My method for repairing your bath
Every bath repair and resurfacing job follows a professional, step-by-step procedure. Thanks to my proven approach, customers in SO14 have enjoyed long-lasting bath repairs.
The first step is always to send me some pictures of the damage so I can assess what type of damage it is and if we can do a spot repair, AKA chip repair, or if it needs to be fully resurfaced. Once I review the damage, I’ll provide a no-obligation fixed quote and explain the warranty options.
Upon approval, I’ll book your repair at a time that works best for you. I'll arrive on the day and set up in your bathroom to do your repair. Protecting your bathroom is a priority—I’ll mask surfaces and keep the area well-ventilated.
Once everything is set, I’ll treat the damage with a bonder and make the surface smooth. The next step is very important as I will colour match a new enamel paint to your existing bath. I apply an additional bonding layer before carefully spraying the new enamel onto the repair. After seamlessly blending the enamel, you’ll need to wait 24 hours for the repair to set.
If the entire bath needs resurfacing, I use a meticulous, multi-step approach. The first step is masking everything around the bath to keep your bathroom spotless. I fully remove the old enamel layer, ensuring a clean slate for the new coating. Any damage—chips, holes, or cracks—is repaired before applying the new surface. I'll then apply a special bonder to the whole bath so the new enamel adheres fully. The next step is spraying on the new brilliant white enamel to your bath. I use my expertise to ensure a stunning, streak-free, and even resurfacing. I finish by buffing and polishing the surface for a brilliant shine. Let it sit for a day, and then you can enjoy your fully restored bath.

My pricing is transparent and fixed, ensuring no surprise charges along the way. I'm fully insured and my work is guaranteed for 12 months.
